Job Description
Electrical Estimator – Process, Power Generation & Industrial Projects – Energy
Location: Stockton-on-Tees (On-site) Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: up to £70,000 (DOE)
The Resolute Group is partnering with a leading electrical contractor delivering major projects across the Process, Power Generation, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, and Renewable Energy sectors. With a solid pipeline including Energy from Waste, Battery Energy Storage, and Biomass Power Stations, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their commercial team onsite in Stockton-on-Tees.
Key Responsibilities To Electrical Estimator
Review client specifications, tender documentation, and contracts to prepare accurate and technically compliant electrical and instrumentation estimates.
Obtain, evaluate, and incorporate supplier and subcontractor quotations to develop competitive bids.
Lead timely preparation, submission, and finalisation of tender bids, attending pre-award meetings to secure contracts.
Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and supply chain to clarify scope, negotiate contract terms, and support handover to delivery teams.
Maintain detailed records of electrical specifications, cost variations, and concessions to manage risks and ensure profitable projects.
Ideal Candidate For Electrical Estimator
Minimum 3 years\’ experience as an Electrical Estimator with strong knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and special systems within Process, Power Generation, Pharmaceutical, or Oil & Gas sectors.
Electrical or Instrumentation degree or trade qualification essential, with proven analytical and IT skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Demonstrable ability to manage complex tender processes, work to tight deadlines, and communicate effectively with clients and supply chain.
