Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on BMS and HVAC control systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve BMS, controls and HVAC‑related faults.
- Review existing control strategies and identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Modify schedules, setpoints and control parameters to improve building performance and energy efficiency.
- Capture software backups, point schedules and system data for further analysis and development.
- Identify energy‑saving, maintenance improvement and decarbonisation opportunities.
- Deliver small works, repairs and system improvements.
- Produce detailed service and optimisation reports.
- Support clients with technical guidance and operational best practices.
- Work closely with internal engineering and applications teams to develop optimisation solutions.
Desired Experience
- Experience working with Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Strong fault‑finding and service background within controls and HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium and/or Cylon.
- Understanding of control strategies, plant operation and energy efficiency principles.
- Electrical or Electronic Engineering qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent desirable).
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly with clients and stakeholders.
- Self‑motivated, proactive and solutions‑focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
