Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a design‑led practice to deliver structural engineering services for small to medium size building projects (£10,000 to £8m).
- Run projects or parts of projects, ideally without supervision.
- Produce drawings (AutoCAD literate) and perform own drawing work.
- Design using all main construction materials; contribute to both new build and refurbishment projects.
- Provide design advice and collaborate with clients and colleagues to deliver quality engineering service.
- Contribute to knowledge in basement design; they have completed a substantial number of basement projects.
- Maintain excellent communication; all staff are client facing.
- Desire to pursue long‑term career opportunities in architecture and structural engineering.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of structural design experience.
- AutoCAD literate and able to perform drawing work.
- Knowledge of new build and refurbishment; able to design in all main materials.

- Live within sensible commuting distance of Croydon and have no visa restrictions.

- Party Wall surveying experience or willingness to undergo training is a bonus.
- Near Chartered status; nearing Chartered status is advantageous.
