The Civils Project Manager will assist with overseeing the operational management of multiple projects, or one larger project, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee health, safety and quality standards across multiple projects
- Prepare and review RAMS and Works Package Plans
- Produce lift plans and project documentation
- Create and update project programmes using MS Project
- Produce short‑term programmes and manage project sequencing
- Plan resources and workforce
- Manage quality processes including Inspection Test Plans and Work Inspection Sheets
- Carry out site measures and progress tracking
- Attend site, progress and programme meetings
- Work closely with the commercial team
- Assist with tender submissions and pre‑construction activities
- Maintain project records and general administration
- Manage and support Sub Agents and other site staff
Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years' experience within the UK civil engineering sector
- Strong site‑based operational experience
- Experience working for a contractor or subcontractor
- Relevant CSCS Card, SMSTS or SSSTS certification
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Proficiency in producing and updating programmes using MS Project
Salary and Benefits
- Salary up to £75,000

- 25 days holiday + bank holidays

- Standard working hours: 10 hours per day, Monday to Friday (1‑hour break)
