Are you a mid‑level buildings structural design engineer looking for a new challenge? Join a large, well‑established multidisciplinary property consultancy at our Cheltenham office.
The work covers a wide variety of building structures projects, from complex schemes up to £200m to small local projects. Projects are both UK and international, with clients such as F1 teams, motor manufacturers, schools/universities, contractors and developers.
Our firm has operated for over 50 years, continuously invests in staff and embraces new technologies. We have low staff turnover and pride ourselves on technical excellence, delivering projects on time and to a high standard.
Responsibilities- Design buildings projects involving concrete, steel, timber and masonry, both new build and refurbishment works.
- Undertake survey and report work related to structural studies.
- Communicate effectively with internal construction and property experts.
- Assist further development towards professional chartership.
- Proficient user of structural analysis software such as Tekla, MasterSeries, SCIA and Tedds.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Desire to attain chartership.
- Full right to work in the UK for the long term; the company does not provide sponsorship.
