We are working with an established main contractor delivering a high-end residential scheme in City of Westminster. They are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager or Senior Site Manager who is confident taking full ownership of a site and driving the programme from start to finish. This role requires someone who is practical, detail-focused, and comfortable managing complex internal works, including basements, while maintaining momentum on site. Experience working on small high-end residential projects will be ideal for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Full day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, programme, and critical path
- Interpreting drawings accurately, identifying changes, and raising RFIs promptly to avoid delays
- Actively managing the programme, ensuring works are completed on time and sequencing is followed correctly
- Running the site on a daily basis, coordinating subcontractors, and organising workloads
- Managing and overseeing internal works, including high-end finishes and basement construction
- Setting out works and checking accuracy, with a strong focus on quality and detail, particularly on high-end elements
- Ensuring all trades are clear on their scope of works and issued with the correct, up-to-date drawings
- Maintaining strong site communication, staying on top of emails, instructions, and queries
- Managing health and safety on site, including inductions and ongoing compliance
- Driving performance, resolving issues proactively, and escalating where required to keep the programme on track
Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager on residential projects
- High-end residential experience is essential; strong residential experience will be considered where high-end exposure is limited
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, internal works, and programme management
- Confident taking ownership of a site and pushing works to completion
- Must hold valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), First Aid, and Asbestos Awareness certification
