Job Title: Assistant Property Manager
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 – 18:00
My client, a well-established, independent Property Management business, is looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join the close-knit team in North London. You will be helping to look after a portfolio of AST properties whilst getting support and ongoing development from the senior team. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure, training, and support!
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Liaising with the in-house maintenance team
- Arranging inventories, check-ins, and check-outs, and conducting property inspections
- Advising utility companies of meter readings and void period bills
- Coordinating estimates and arranging repairs with contractors, liaising between landlords and tenants, and troubleshooting where applicable
- Proposing and negotiating deposits between landlords and tenants, understanding the rebuttal process
Must have:
- Driving license and access to a vehicle
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized and punctual
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- A keen problem solver
- Client-facing
- Strong administration and excellent IT skills
- Ability to build long-term relationships with landlords
- Positive and encouraging attitude
Good to have but not essential:
- Knowledge of Licensing Schemes
