Responsibilities
- Process incoming tenant rents, reconciling service charge accounts and ensuring correct funds are allocated to landlords.
- Accounts Payable: Processing, coding, and paying contractor and supplier invoices for property maintenance and repairs.
- Registering tenant deposits with authorised protection schemes and processing release payments at the end of tenancies.
- Reconciliations: Performing weekly or monthly reconciliations for client bank accounts and tenant deposit accounts.
- Monitoring rent arrears, sending follow-up reminders to tenants, and escalating uncollected payments.
- Managing utility provider changes during tenant move-ins/outs and ensuring safety certificates (e.g., gas, electrical) are financially and administratively compliant.
- Manage contractor invoices and payments.
- Liaise with contractors and leaseholders regarding invoices and payments.
- Perform personal assistant duties to the CEO.
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience working on service charge accounts.
- Block management experience ideal.
- Ability to use own initiative.
- The ability to work in a team as well as independently.
- Confidence to communicate effectively and efficiently.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday 9am β 5pm, office based initially, potential for hybrid once probation has been passed.
