We are looking for a talented and passionate full-time Events and Groups Executive to join The Connaught Events team at the award-winning 5-Star Deluxe Connaught Hotel.
Responsibilities:
- Have an in depth knowledge of food and beverage and be able to recommend and discuss items with clients over the telephone. Keep up to date with new food and beverage items available to clients, as well as current price lists.
- To handle clients and prospective clients in such a way that sales and profitability is maximised. To develop a close working relationship with designated account(s). This must involve all areas of the company to include events, groups and all personnel within these areas who have a potential to book the properties.
- To identify potential sources of business by analysing evidence of buyer activity in competitor hotels, independent research and following up referred sales leads.
- To remain aware of the whereabouts of all team members when in the office.
- To ensure all bookings and cancellations are monitored to maximize conversion.
- To conduct telesales activity with identified business sources, assess potential and arrange sales appointments.
- To ensure that enquiries are sent the relevant information and that the details are filed within the office and/or personal trace system for easy and timely retrieval.
