Accounts Assistant & General Cashier to join the team at Claridge's.

Finance
Amid the busyness of Claridge's, you will find the calm, ordered rhythm of the Finance department.
Your role will be defined by accuracy and trust and together with the rest of the team, you will play a part in analysing performance, guiding departmental budgets and safeguarding the hotels long-term prosperity with meticulous care.
Accounts Assistant & General Cashier you will be responsible for
- Collecting daily revenue drop envelopes from all front office and all outlets and reconciling cash collections against sales reports.
- Preparing daily bank deposit slips, verifying total funds, and coordinating secure banking or transport services.
- Processing authorised petty cash disbursements, logging receipts, and preparing monthly reimbursement reports.
- Keeping accurate records of all financial transactions, including invoices, receipts and payments.
- Entering financial transactions into accounting software, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Supporting month-end and year-end close processes by preparing necessary journal entries and reconciliations.
- Performing general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and photocopying financial documents.
- Assisting Accounts Receivable with issuing invoices to customers and ensuring payments are received on time.
- Following up on outstanding invoices and handle customer queries related to billing.
- Performing reconciliation of credit card postings, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
