We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and skilled Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly 60-place nursery in Tower Hamlets. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate early years professional who is committed to delivering high-quality care, supporting children's learning and development, and creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care β Provide warm, responsive and consistent care that supports children's wellbeing and development.
- Plan and deliver activities β Contribute to planning, preparing and leading stimulating, age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Support children's development β Observe, assess and record children's progress in line with the EYFS framework.
- Safeguarding & compliance β Follow all safeguarding, health and safety and Ofsted requirements to maintain a safe environment.
- Build positive relationships β Work closely with parents, carers and colleagues to support each child's individual needs.
- Room organisation β Help maintain an organised, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Team collaboration β Work effectively with the nursery team, contributing to a supportive and professional culture.
- Record keeping β Maintain accurate observations, reports and documentation in line with statutory requirements.
Qualifications
- Level 3 childcare qualification (or above).
- Experience working in an early years setting.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development.
- Warm, caring and professional approach with children and families.
- Good communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
- Passionate about providing high-quality early years education.
Compensation and Work Details
- Β£36,600 per annum.
