Set in the heart of Mayfair, Claridge's is an art deco icon and a byword for understated elegance. As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting departmental rotas and ensuring the workload is sufficiently covered on a day to day basis
  • Managing records for all colleagues within your section of the department, noting significant achievements, ensuring recognition, recording absence, holidays and lateness.
  • Making necessary recommendations to the development of colleagues
  • Ensuring all new colleagues are fully inducted into the Housekeeping department and trained on all procedures relating to the department.
  • Preparing and supervising the training programme for colleagues
  • Working on specific projects assigned to you within the department
  • Assisting with the preparation of rooms for specific guest requests or VIP arrivals.

Entry Requirements for the role of Assistant Housekeeping Manager:

We are looking for a strong, motivated individual, ideally someone who has worked in a similar role within the luxury hospitality industry in the past. This person will be a team player who is an avid learner, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Other skills that will need to be demonstrated include:
