Responsibilities include the day-to-day running of Claridge's ArtSpace Café and Claridge's Bakery, ensuring that your time is split equally between both outlets to maintain a consistent high standard. This role involves the recruitment, training, and development of all colleagues within the department, maintaining high standards of service that reflect the neighbourhood ethos of the outlets, budget and cost management, and bringing exciting ideas for revenue generation. You will also manage and maintain operating equipment and stock levels while maintaining a good knowledge of regular guests and customers.
Qualifications require genuine dedication to Claridge's and a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service. You should provide intuitive service with an understanding of our guests' needs to create exceptional service experiences. Being motivated, creative, and having previous experience in a similar role is essential. A passion for coffee, food, and quality products is necessary, along with being a team player who is eager to learn and develop. Previous experience in leading a small team and demonstrating proven financial acumen is required. Fluency in spoken and written English is also necessary.
