999 Telephone Triage Clinician

We are looking for experienced Paramedics and RGN’s with emergency or urgent care experience who are interested in a working as Telephone Triage Clinicians to support the 999 service taking category 2 calls.

You will be responsible for calling back patients and triaging them to ensure they are on the correct pathway.

In order to qualify for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

• Be a registered Nurse or Paramedic with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience

• Have emergency or urgent care experience, primary care experience will be considered

• Telephone triage experience is desirable but not essential

• Be available for a fairly immediate start

• Be able to travel to Nottingham or Lincoln as this position is an on-site role

We are looking for Clinicians to support the service until at least the end of March, but this is likely to be extended.

The service is 24/7. They can accommodate part time or full time hours which will be discussed at interview.

You will need to be available for 2 weeks of full time training. The training and mentoring is scheduled Monday – Friday 08.30-16.30. The first course will start on Monday 6th January and there will be courses throughout the month of January.
