From spa escapes and weddings to countryside stays, dining, events and outdoor experiences, no two days at Coniston are ever the same. We are looking for someone who loves content, enjoys bringing ideas to life and can help tell the story of the estate across social media, CRM, campaigns, and events.

If you’re creative, organised and enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, we’d love to hear from you. As a business, we’re focused on strengthening our position as a destination estate, while continuing to build momentum across weddings, spa, dining and stays. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys getting stuck in and bringing ideas to life.

You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day delivery across CRM, website and social media, making sure everything we put out feels current, consistent and right for the estate. Working closely with the Commercial & Partnerships Director and wider team, you’ll turn agreed priorities into campaigns, content and communications that encourage guests to visit, stay and come back.

This role is very much about doing - creating content, launching campaigns, managing channels and keeping everything moving. You’ll need to be comfortable working at pace, responding to what’s happening in the business and keeping things on track. You’ll also play an important part in how the brand shows up day to day, making sure everything is well presented and aligned across all touchpoints.

Alongside this, you’ll work with external partners across digital and PR, helping to keep activity joined up and making sure we’re getting the most from what we’re doing.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • CRM & Email Marketing
    • Manage and deliver CRM activity through For-Sight
    • Plan and send regular email campaigns across stays, spa, dining, weddings and corporate
    • Build and maintain simple automated journeys where needed
    • Keep content relevant, timely and aligned to what’s happening in the business
  • Website & Digital
    • Work with Journey Hospitality to keep website content up to date
    • Support landing pages for campaigns and key periods
    • Sense check the booking journey and flag anything that doesn’t feel right
    • Help improve how we present offers and packages online
    • Use stories day-to-day to highlight availability, activity and what’s happening on site
  • Social Media & Content
    • Plan, create and post content across all social channels
    • Keep content aligned to what we need to drive (rooms, spa, dining, events)
    • Capture content on site and work with the team to bring the estate to life
    • Use stories day-to-day to highlight availability, activity and what’s happening onsite
  • Campaign Delivery
    • Support the delivery of marketing campaigns across the year
    • Help bring together content, messaging and timing across channels
    • Respond to need periods with simple, targeted activity
    • Create marketing materials to support campaigns, including adverts, event branding (exhibitions and shows) and printed collateral
    • Keep campaigns moving and make sure nothing stalls
  • PR & Partnerships
    • Work alongside PR partners to support activity and coverage
    • Help pull together content and information for features and campaigns
    • Support partnership activity where needed
  • Marketing Objectives
    • Stay close to what’s happening in the business week to week
    • Understand where we need to drive demand and support this through marketing
    • Keep activity aligned to key dates, availability and priorities
    • Turn direction into clear, practical actions
  • Reporting & Insight
    • Keep track of what’s been sent, posted and delivered
    • Share simple updates on what’s working and what isn’t
    • Use this to improve future activity

We are a family run, privately owned organisation founded in 1969 by the Bannister family, who are actively involved in the day-to-day running of the business.
