What You’ll Do
This isn’t just a Senior Functional Consultant (SAP SD and SAP MM) position at a Consultancy or end-user. You will be a subject matter expert for SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Material Management (MM) module and advise on best practice business processes in line with the system capabilities and complex system changes. The role will optimise client functions by delivering complex end-end implementations, upgrades, enhancements and offer support for related solutions and The Config Team products. The position will provide support, coaching, development, and guidance to colleagues and at times lead project teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as a key customer representative and subject matter expert for SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Material Management (MM) business processes, attending and leading meetings when required.
- Provide guidance to colleagues on system design, build and complex configuration.
- Guide and assist colleagues on SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Material Management (MM), business process knowledge, testing, documentation, end-user training and customer go-lives.
- Advise customers on relevant best practice processes for order-to-cash (OTC) and procure-to-pay (P2P) cycles.
- Provide a level of strategic advice to customers for system design integrating SD and MM with other modules.
- Design, build and implement scalable and complex SAP customer solutions aligned with industry best practices.
- Develop a strong understanding of client operations and make well-founded suggestions for improvement through the use of SAP technology and other technology products.
- Give trusted advice and explain standard SAP configuration within SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Material Management (MM) and the impact of changes upon solutions and/or business process.
What You Bring
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on SAP SD and MM experience.
- Strong understanding of order-to-cash (OTC) processes.
- Involved with and led multiple end to end SAP project life cycles.
- S/4 Hana experience.
- A valid UK driving license.
