The Company: At The Config Team, we’re not a typical corporate consultancy, and we’re not a generic SAP/IT Consultancy. We are experts in SAP supply chain, and we do it exceptionally well. With 30+ years of experience and our own suite of products (like PreBilt™ for EWM), we help global brands create smarter, faster, more resilient supply chains. Each project we deliver is different from the next. We can offer an environment that brings a variety of projects at the forefront of modern supply chain solutions.
What You’ll Do: The SAP Programme Manager is accountable for successful customer delivery outcomes relating to the delivery of our software products, including PreBilt, iDoc Management Console, CodingControl, and other current and future innovations. The role owns delivery commitments, priorities, governance, and risk across one or more customer engagements or portfolios. The Delivery Manager ensures our software solutions are delivered predictably, profitably, and to agreed quality, acting as the primary customer facing owner of delivery while working in close partnership with Innovation Teams, Sales, and internal teams.
Why This Role is Different:
- Pure Supply Chain Focus – Join a team where everyone around you is an SAP supply chain expert. No distractions, no dilution — just depth in the field you care about most.
- Beyond Consulting – Influence and implement our own accelerators (PreBilt™, CodingControl™, IMC) alongside client solutions. You’ll solve problems and scale them globally.
- Boutique with Global Reach – Enjoy the close-knit culture of a family run specialist firm, backed by international delivery capability and blue-chip clients.
- Real Visibility & Ownership – Your solutions will be milestones, valued, and help shape both client outcomes and our growing UK practice.
- Work That Fits Your Life – With flexibility, sensible travel, and a culture that genuinely values balance, we’re proving you don’t have to burn out to deliver brilliant work.
Required Skills:
- Experience delivering SAP‑adjacent, enterprise, or supply‑chain‑focused software products.
- Strong delivery management and governance skills, with the ability to plan, track, and control delivery across multiple customer engagements.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, able to balance competing customer demands and delivery constraints.
- Demonstrable experience in a Delivery Manager, Service Delivery Manager, Project Manager, or similar role within a software or technology led environment.
- Experience operating in fast paced, changing delivery environments with multiple concurrent priorities.
- A valid UK driving licence.
Desired Skills:
- Experience delivering SAP adjacent, enterprise, or supply chain focused software products.
What We Offer:
- Competitive compensation based on experience.
- Flexible, hybrid working.
- The chance to shape solutions and influence product innovation.
- A values-driven culture, recognised with a 4.8/5 Glassdoor rating and Investors in People Gold accreditation.
- A role where your expertise has visibility, impact on milestone projects and room to grow.
