Responsibilities include supporting the classroom teacher with their responsibility for the development and education of all students. Lead and supervise a team of Teaching Assistants. Work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement agreed work programmes with individuals and or groups, in or out of the classroom. Assist the teacher in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. Support individual students and small groups under the guidance of the SENDCo.
Qualifications & Experience: This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about providing excellent support and guidance for young people with SEND. The successful candidate will have experience working with SEND students, and a desire to gain experience or further education in teaching, educational psychology, mentoring, charity work or social work.
