We are seeking a qualified teacher and experienced senior leader for a new Head of School position, responsible for the operational leadership of a new mixed SEND school, where Key Stage 4 and Post-16 pupils can thrive, gaining qualifications and skills for adulthood. Opening in September 2026, TCES North West London is expanding, with a brand-new purpose-built school building, specifically designed for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in Key Stage 4 and Post-16.

As well as acting as the main hub for TCES Outreach Service pupils in West London, this specialist campus will be a state-of-the-art school and college, created around the needs of our students, combining industry-standard facilities with small class sizes and therapeutic support.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team of teaching, learning support, inclusion and clinical staff, supporting pupils with complex needs and neurodiversity, including Autism. You will oversee the learning environment so that these vulnerable young people are able to thrive, develop social skills, ensuring that they build confidence, self-esteem and the ability to work and learn within small groups in a classroom.

Essential requirements to be successful in the role are:

  • Experience of supporting neurodiverse children with SEND, including Autism (ASD / ASC) and an understanding of potential implications for communication.
