Compass Academy is a unique KS3 Alternative Provision in Hull that supports pupils with a variety of needs from Hull and outer areas. Many of our pupils have been permanently excluded from their mainstream schools and/or require specialist support to enable pupils with identified SEND needs to access education. A large number of our cohort have experienced a range of early childhood traumas which impacts on a child's emotional wellbeing and ability to regulate their behaviour. Many of our pupils present with complex needs and as such, require high levels of specialist support and intervention.

This role will work with teachers to provide teaching, learning and pastoral support by working with individuals or small groups of students under the direction of teaching staff and may be responsible for some learning activities within the overall teaching plan.
