About the Role: We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Panel Analyst to join our Sales Panel team, supporting one of the company’s core data and insight products. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Sales Panel reporting, including collecting and validating data, maintaining high standards of data quality, analysing sales and market performance, and producing regular client-facing reports. A secondary part of the role will be assisting the insights team to transform complex datasets into meaningful insights to help clients understand market trends, performance drivers, and commercial opportunities.
As the Sales Panel Analyst, you’ll be responsible for the below:
- Collect, process, and validate data from multiple sources to support the ongoing delivery of Sales Panel reports.
- Perform detailed data quality checks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of datasets, reports, and client deliverables.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies, anomalies, and reporting issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure Sales Panel data is processed, maintained, and reported in accordance with data governance standards and confidentiality requirements.
- Monitor data quality metrics and proactively identify potential issues before they impact reporting outputs.
- Produce regular reports and analytical outputs in line with agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Support the continuous improvement of Sales Panel reporting by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
- Respond to internal and client queries relating to data, reporting outputs, and analytical findings.
- Analyse sales and market data to identify trends, patterns, and key commercial insights and visualise findings into PowerPoint presentations.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or patterns.
- Experience with analysing data to identify trends, errors and conclusions through university projects, internships and/or previous roles.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
- Experience using Excel, PowerPoint, or similar tools to analyse data and communicate findings.
- A willingness to learn, experiment, and continually improve technical and analytical skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Awareness of data governance and best practices for handling sensitive or confidential information.
- An interest in market analysis, commercial insights, or using data to understand business performance.
- Knowledge of the UK telecommunications market.
Qualifications:
A university degree in a subject that demonstrates strong analytical and/or numerical skills. Degrees in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related data-focused discipline are particularly desirable.
