About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Director to join our sales team. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be a key member of the sales team and responsible for managing a number of key accounts. The main focus of the role will be to maintain, renew and increase TCV with key Enterprise accounts within the UK Telecoms market. Setting the account strategy and orchestrating the client engagement to nurture existing and new relationships.

About You:

The ideal candidate will be a self-driven, experienced Account Director, who has a proven track record of meeting sales targets and enjoys a fast-paced environment working within a growth-oriented organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Ownership – Develop and execute on the Enterprise account plan, to drive customer retention, secure renewal business and identify new opportunities.
  • Key stakeholder management and Senior level engagement to ensure FDM CCS Insight are addressing customers' strategic business objectives.
  • Deep knowledge of the FDM CCS Insight portfolio and how this benefits and maps to client needs.
  • Develop and implement clear sales strategy to maximise MRR and ARR.
  • Manage the full sales cycle – from initial contact & qualification through to face-to-face meetings, proposal, contract stage and closing business.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to target new prospects and identify new personas to engage.
  • Agree and implement retention and new business initiatives with CRO and Marketing team.
  • Meet or exceed set Sales targets.
  • Report pipeline and sales activities on a weekly basis via the CRM (Hubspot) to the CRO.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience of the Telecoms and adjacent markets in the UK.
  • Strategic account management acumen.
  • A clear understanding of positioning, selling and renewing pricing data and insights products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients effectively.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities to engage clients and translate market trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot), MS Office suite, and lead generation tools.
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Considerable experience in Key account management.
