Reporting to the Site Manager, we are looking for a motivated Process Engineer to optimise, control and continuously improve manufacturing processes at our Crumlin site. You will keep our processes capable, stable and performing well – working closely with operations, engineering and quality teams to deliver safe, efficient and reliable production. It is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems at source and turning analysis into real improvement on the line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain process control and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
  • Define SOPs, process parameters and control systems in line with product, capability and quality requirements.
  • Use root cause analysis (RCA, 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA) and SPC to reduce complaints, non-conformances and process variation.
  • Reduce waste, scrap and rework, and improve process stability and equipment efficiency.
  • Lead technical improvement projects from concept to implementation, with proper change control.
  • Support the commissioning and qualification of new equipment, and train colleagues on new processes.
  • Actively contribute to the site’s Safety Culture.
What You’ll NeedEssential
  • Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment.
  • Proven process optimisation and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement.
  • Sound statistical knowledge applied in production.
Desirable
  • Experience in film extrusion, converting, packaging or continuous manufacturing.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt.
