We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Administrative Assistant to be based within the Office of the Secretary-General. The successful candidate will support the Office Manager and provide corporate support, office-based activities and operational administrative service in the Executive Office of the Secretary-General, interfacing with the Office Manager and the Commonwealth organisations on a wide range of issues.
Duties include:
- Managing the Secretary-General’s diary.
- Drafting and producing correspondence.
- Liaising with internal and external parties at all levels.
- Supporting the Secretary-General in official meetings.
- Supporting the Secretary-General in matters relating to travel, financial procedures, and project work.
Qualifications:
- Degree in business administration, social sciences, or equivalent.
- At least five years of demonstrated administrative experience.
- Experience in undertaking research and presentations.
- Must be a citizen of a Commonwealth country with the right to live and work in the UK.
