With an ever-growing membership base and an exciting period of development ahead, we’re looking for a passionate and performance-driven Membership Sales Manager to lead our sales strategy and deliver an exceptional member experience from first contact through long-term retention.
What You’ll Do
- Sales & Business Development
- Lead on all membership sales activity to consistently achieve monthly and annual targets.
- Develop and deliver a proactive sales plan, including campaigns, outreach and events.
- Convert enquiries through tours, consultations and excellent relationship building.
- Build partnerships in the local community to increase brand awareness and new member acquisition.
- Member Experience & Retention
- Ensure every enquiry, tour and onboarding journey feels personal, welcoming and aligned with the Bowfield experience.
- Monitor member feedback and retention data, introducing improvements where needed.
- Create a sense of community by supporting on-club events, challenges and initiatives.
- Leadership & Operations
- Lead, motivate and develop the membership team to deliver excellence in service and performance.
- Produce accurate reports to track sales performance, forecasting and KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with the Health Club Manager, fitness team, spa and hotel departments to support an integrated guest and member experience.

- Proven experience in a membership, sales or business development role – ideally within leisure, fitness, hospitality or service industries.
- A natural salesperson who is confident, personable and driven by results.
- Strong leadership ability with experience motivating teams to success.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for cultivating long-term relationships.
- Highly organised, commercially minded and comfortable analysing performance data.
