The Commercial Group is recruiting on behalf of a global engineering consultancy for a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Associate to join their Energy & Environment team on a permanent basis. The role is based in Birmingham with a hybrid model (office and home) and requires occasional travel.
Responsibilities
- Manage a post-contract NEC design contract (approx. £20m pa) that is due to start shortly
- Focus on Forecasting, Change Management, Actual Forecast Price (AFP), Cost Reporting, Margin Projections, and related activities
- Administer NEC contracts (Option C and E desirable)
- Deliver post-contract Change, AFP, Forecasting and Reporting
- Build and maintain relationships with colleagues and clients
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in a Senior QS position leading projects of £5m+
- Comfortable with NEC contracts (Option C & E desirable)
- Proven track record in post-contract Change, AFP, Forecasting and Reporting
- Strong stakeholder management and client relationship skills
- Ability to commute to Birmingham 2 days per week
