The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Acting Agent to join our small, growing team and expand our offering into TV, film, and comedy performance work. This is an opportunity to shape the agency’s acting division and work closely with our comedy creators as they move further into traditional entertainment.
You’ll manage acting-focused opportunities across scripted and unscripted comedy, liaising with casting directors, producers, and networks, while nurturing our existing talent’s transition from online to on-screen.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent and manage a roster of comedy creators for acting, TV, and performance opportunities.
- Pitch clients to casting directors, producers, and networks.
- Source and negotiate acting and performance contracts, ensuring fair terms on fees, rights, and usage.
- Build and maintain strong industry relationships with casting directors, production companies, and broadcasters.
- Guide clients on career strategy and performance development.
- Collaborate with our brand partnerships team to align commercial and acting opportunities.
- Track opportunities across comedy festivals, pilots, and scripted projects.
- Handle deal negotiation, contract review, and scheduling for acting projects.
- Maintain accurate records and reports for client activity and deals.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years experience as an agent or assistant agent in comedy, acting, or entertainment.
- Existing industry contacts with casting directors, producers, and commissioners.
- Excellent negotiation skills and attention to contract detail.
- Strong understanding of UK comedy, entertainment, and creator landscapes.
- Proactive and entrepreneurial approach to finding opportunities.
- Personable, trustworthy, and confident working directly with talent.
- Organised and self-sufficient, comfortable working in a small, fast-paced team.
