We’re searching for a host to join our team at The Blues Kitchen. We’re looking for a Host with a warm presence and a genuine approach to hospitality. You’ll be the first face our guests see—managing the door, coordinating bookings, and setting the tone for a great night. This is a high-volume, late-night venue, so we’re after someone who stays calm under pressure, communicates clearly, and keeps things running smoothly. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Greeting and seating guests with confidence and care
  • Managing bookings, walk-ins, and waitlists
  • Supporting the front-of-house team during busy services
  • Coordinating with the floor and kitchen to maintain flow
  • Creating a calm, welcoming front-of-house environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a guest-facing role

What To Expect

  • Competitive Pay: £12.25 per hour plus tronc (total package usually in the range of £15-17 per hour). Hourly wages paid every two weeks on a Friday and tronc is paid on the last Friday of the month.
  • The Blues Kitchen is a lively bar, restaurant and music venue meaning our teams work a variety of daytime and evening shifts over the course of the week.
