We’re looking for a Food Runner to join our talented team at The Parakeet. If you have experience in casual fine dining and delivering small-plate service, we’d love to hear from you.

About Us

The Parakeet is a Public House and Dining Room in the heart of Kentish Town. A hub for locals and visitors alike, we’re a classic boozer at the front bar with an award-winning small-plate restaurant in the dining room. Our kitchen, led by Chef Ben Allen, has been widely celebrated as one of the most exciting openings of 2023—earning critical acclaim across the industry.

What We’re Looking For

• At least one year’s experience as a Server/Waiter/Waitress in a casual-fine dining restaurant.
• Confidence in following detailed service steps, including allergen procedures, while managing a busy section.
• A strong desire to grow—many of our Head Waiters are promoted from within, supported by the Columbo Academy development programme.

What To Expect

• Competitive Pay: £12.25 per hour + tronc (total typically £13–16 phr). Paid fortnightly (wages) and monthly (tronc).
