We are seeking a highly organised Local Governing Committee Clerk / Governance Professional to support effective governance across The Collegiate Trust. This part‑time role is suitable for a skilled administrator who can extend their working hours, with attendance required at evening meetings, typically between 5‑8 pm. The successful candidate will ensure Local Governing Committees operate efficiently and in line with statutory requirements, providing professional clerking support, coordinating meetings, and maintaining accurate governance records.
Responsibilities
- Provide clerking support to Local Governing Committees to ensure statutory compliance.
- Coordinate and prepare for evening meetings, including agenda setting and minute taking.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date governance records and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Chairs, Principals, Governors and the Central Team to promote strong communication and effective governance across the Trust.
- Attend regular committee meetings and provide timely support to committee members.
Qualifications
- Proactive, detail‑oriented individual with strong administrative skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively and work independently.
- Confident communicator capable of building positive working relationships.
- Discretion in handling confidential information.
