The Quest Academy is looking for a skilled and passionate Team Leader Maths to lead further improvements in our Faculty.

The Quest Maths team is very strong and delivers consistently high standards – at both GCSE and A-Level. The Faculty is well established and an area of excellent practice. The Maths team has a range of colleagues in terms of experience and also consists of two coordinators and a Lead Practitioner, who you will work alongside to help deliver excellent pedagogy. The Maths Faculty is a fantastic place to accelerate the development of your own teaching skills, and share ideas on what makes outstanding learning. What does the role involve?

The main aim of this role is to deliver exceptional teaching and learning for the fantastic students of our great school. You will benefit from being actively engaged in up-to-date teaching pedagogy and contribute to the continual improvement and refinement of teaching.

You will be responsible for:

• The design and delivery of the Maths curriculum
• The deployment of Maths staff (in consultation with SLT)
• Line management of the Maths Faculty (including of Coordinators of Maths)

Student outcomes and the quality of Teaching and Learning in Maths (alongside the wider maths team)

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching Maths, and leading others to do the same. You will have experience of successfully leading colleagues and be able to share your enthusiasm with colleagues and students.

You will need to be a teacher who is capable of building strong relationships with colleagues, students and families to help maximise this enthusiasm and thirst for learning.
