Are you an experienced recruiter who enjoys finding the right people while delivering a great candidate experience?

We’re looking for a proactive Recruitment Officer to lead day-to-day recruitment and onboarding across The Colleges’ Partnership. You’ll manage vacancies from initial planning and attraction through to appointment and onboarding, working closely with hiring managers to deliver effective, inclusive, and compliant recruitment.

This is a varied role combining hands-on recruitment with candidate attraction, safer recruitment, recruitment data, and continuous improvement. You’ll have the opportunity to influence how we attract talent, develop our employer brand, and improve the experience we provide to candidates and hiring managers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading recruitment campaigns from vacancy approval through to appointment
• Working with hiring managers to develop adverts, plan recruitment activity, and support fair and effective selection
• Coordinating shortlisting, interviews, offers, and candidate communications
• Managing safer recruitment and pre-employment checks, including right to work, DBS, BPSS, and references
• Coordinating onboarding and supporting new starters through a positive introduction to the organisation
• Developing our employer brand through recruitment campaigns, social media, and careers activity
• Building relationships with job boards, recruitment agencies, colleges, and other talent partners
• Maintaining accurate recruitment information across our HR and recruitment systems
• Monitoring recruitment data, including time-to-hire, vacancy fill rates, and equality and diversity measures
• Identifying opportunities to improve candidate attraction, recruitment processes, and time-to-hire
• Supporting wider HR projects and people activity as required

What you’ll bring:

• Experience working in an internal or agency recruitment role
• Experience managing multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously
• Confidence working with hiring managers and providing practical recruitment advice
• Experience using HR or applicant tracking systems
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Confidence using recruitment data and reporting to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• CIPD Level 3, CertRP/CertIHR Level 3, or equivalent relevant recruitment experience
• Experience of safer recruitment or working within a regulated environment would be an advantage
