Tyne Coast College – Cross College, primarily based at South Tyneside College.
Permanent position, 30 hours per week. Lecturer Salary Scale: Spine Points 25 – 33 (£33,496 - £43,471 pro rata per annum; Actual salary: £27,158.92 - £35,246.76 per annum). 700.5 teaching hours. Closing date: Monday 7th September.

What does the role involve?
If you can bring English to life in a way that engages, inspires and leads to high achievement, then you will be successful here at Tyne Coast College. You will plan and deliver GCSE and Functional English in a group setting to learners of varying abilities. Provide constructive feedback to students on their academic progress. You will contribute to curriculum development within the department.

A dynamic, innovative and passionate teacher to deliver GCSE English Language and Functional Skills English across the college. Candidates should be able to motivate and enthuse learners about English through creative and inspiring delivery. You will be a teacher with a proven track record of excellent classroom practice who sets high expectations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively with a close-knit team.
