About the Company
We are the dairy shaker uppers. We’re on a mission to take yoghurt from the fridge to the fore and shake things up. At The Collective, yoghurt is the star of the show. Fighting the good food fight is at the heart of what we do. To be better for people – through epic flavours and inherently healthier snacking, and for the planet – through innovative packaging and regenerative farming. The Collective is part of Yeo Valley Productions, based in Somerset. We make regular trips to the west country to collaborate with our fellow team at Yeo Valley HQ but day‑to‑day, we remain a close‑knit team of 12 based in our London (Soho) office. The entrepreneurial spirit of The Collective company is still very much at the heart of our business. We preach flexible working but for close collaboration, do require a minimum of 2-3 days per week in the office.
The Role
We’re looking for a dynamic Brand Activation Manager to bring our brand to life through impactful marketing activation plans across retail, shopper, experiential, digital, trial‑driving and trade channels, within an exciting and fast‑paced yoghurt category. You will work cross‑functionally to ensure brand plans across our adult and kid’s portfolios are executed brilliantly in market to drive awareness, trial, conversion, and advocacy, in line with our 3‑year strategy. The role requires a balance of being consumer‑obsessed, a creative thinker and passionate about partnerships. We welcome a wide range of energies, personalities & interests. Key skills required include collaboration, organisation, creativity and storytelling. A passion for delivering the ‘antidote to boring’ is our motivation! We’re all about rolling our sleeves up, digging in, testing new things and learning fast. You’ll report into our Marketing Manager and work closely and collaboratively with our wider marketing, sales, product and insight teams to represent the brand, our consumer and marketing plans internally and externally.
Responsibilities
- Work cross‑functionally to ensure brand activation plans are executed brilliantly, across our adult and kid’s portfolio, to drive awareness, trial, conversion, and advocacy, in line with our 3‑year strategy.
- Working closely with the Marketing Manager and brand managers to meet objectives across Masterbrand, kids’ world, core ranges and NPD launches.
- You’ll have a proven track record of project management to ensure activations are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with brand guidelines.
- Lead end‑to‑end campaign delivery across activation channels, managing timelines, budgets, assets, and stakeholders while optimising campaigns for different customers and channels to maximise ROI and maintain brand consistency.
- Oversee retail media, Citrus, sampling, and PR agency relationships, working closely with digital and brand teams to amplify campaigns across social and retail platforms.
- Execute shopper marketing, events and sampling initiatives to drive visibility, trial and conversion in‑store and online.
- Internal cross‑functional collaboration is required with the sales team on retailer‑specific activation and promotional plans, and the planning team to ensure stock supply.
- You get the best bang for buck and identify opportunities to enhance in‑store execution, strong stand out on shelf and getting products straight into consumers hands.
- Lead our charity partnership with The Felix Project, planning and executing the comms calendar for the year, working closely with the brand managers, digital and design.
