Lincolnshire £35,000. My client is looking for a Specification Technologist to add to a growing Spec team. They have a strong relationship with their retail customers, giving you the opportunity to work with the biggest retailers in the country. If you are currently a Spec Tech or a Technologist, this could be a great opportunity for you to increase exposure and knowledge in this area.
The Role
- Create and manage product specifications for UK retailers, foodservice, and manufacturing customers.
- Approve packaging artwork and copy, ensuring legal and customer compliance.
- Work with other departments to support product launches.
- Maintain accurate ingredient, recipe, and nutritional data across systems.
- Ensure specifications are completed to customer and internal deadlines.
- Conduct allergen and claims risk assessments.
- Support factory trials, audits, and continuous improvement activities.
