Do you want to be the senior figure within the inspection department and be working on the latest software and CMM machines? Look no further. This position will be very hands on, helping to program & inspect parts daily but also you will be the go-to figure in the team to offer your expertise to other inspectors. It is a fast moving, busy sub con with a great variety of parts coming out of the machine shop into the inspection department. The Job; As a Chief Quality Inspector, you will help with the increased workload in the inspection department. The role will be quality checking a variety of metallic parts, this will include first off inspection and final inspection before sending out to various customers. The work can be varied as they are a sub-contractor, so can be anything from 1 off’s to small batch runs. You will be overseeing a team of 2 quality inspectors alongside your hands on duties, so will be fully in control of the inspection department and can really make it your own. The role is also a Monday to Friday position with no shift required.
