Our client is a global leader in precision measurement equipment, trusted by industries where accuracy isn't optional. The Role:

You'll be the Technical Sales Engineer for the North East region, building strong relationships with existing customers while developing new business. Your days will be spent visiting clients, understanding their challenges and matching them with the right solutions from one of the most respected product ranges in the industry. You'll identify opportunities, generate and qualify leads, prepare quotations, negotiate and close sales. You'll work with internal teams to keep things moving and ensure customers get exactly what they need. Exhibitions, demos and events will feature too, giving you multiple ways to grow your network and your sales pipeline. You will be taking over a warm patch with already existing clients. So you will not only be identifying new opportunities but nurturing existing relationships.

  • Experience in technical or field sales, ideally within engineering, manufacturing or metrology.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • The ability to understand technical products and explain them clearly.
  • A self-motivated approach, comfortable working independently and planning your own workload.
  • A full driving licence and willingness to travel across your region.
