Are you experienced in being the bridge between design and manufacturing? Are you able to define processes and create complex 5 axis machining programs? This role will allow you to take control and make a difference in a booming industry.
The Business:
You will be working for a well-known name in the aerospace industry, defining processes and creating programs for critical part manufacturing. A lot of what the business does is R&D lead, high value parts, so no two programs will be the same! The business also offers a 4-day working week, meaning every week you get a 3-day weekend!
The Role:
You will be the main point of contact to offer your expertise, define processes, problem solve and truly be the link between design offices and manufacturing on the shop floor. Setting out the procedures so all departments are on the same page is key. Creating complex 5 axis programs is part of this, to ensure toolpaths are correct and parts are made to the tightest of tolerances.
What we need from you:
- Strong understanding of 5 axis machining cutting knowledge
- Hypermill CAM Experience and strong understanding of CAD
- Previously set out processes within manufacturing to produce parts
