The Opportunity
We're working with a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing business that prides itself on quality, innovation, and investing in its people. They are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support their highly automated warehouse and conveyor systems. This is a key role within the engineering team, focused on maximising uptime, improving system reliability, and supporting continuous improvement across site.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective remedial actions
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across automated systems
- Support and improve automated warehouse and conveyor operations
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency
- Work closely with production and logistics teams to improve OEE
- Attend and contribute to performance improvement meetings
- Complete detailed maintenance and breakdown reports
- Manage spare parts usage and bookings
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
What We're Looking For
- Recognised Engineering Qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent)
- Strong electrical/mechanical skills with experience in:
- PLCs
- Control systems
- Relays, contactors, and safety circuits
- Experience working within Manufacturing/automated/Food environments
