Overview

We are partnering with a large, multi-site organisation to recruit a Senior Finance Lead. This is a high-impact role for a commercially minded finance leader to take ownership of operational finance, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to drive performance, improve visibility of key metrics, and support strategic decision-making. The role will suit someone who enjoys working at pace, influencing non-finance teams, and using financial insight to improve business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance planning across multiple sites
  • Partner with senior operational stakeholders to drive efficiency and profitability
  • Provide clear financial insight, analysis, and decision support
  • Establish and track KPIs to improve performance visibility and accountability
  • Drive cost control and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Enhance reporting, processes, and systems to improve output and accuracy
  • Lead and develop a team aligned to operational finance delivery

Key Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a senior operational or commercial finance role
  • Strong background in business partnering and performance management
  • Experience leading and developing finance teams
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence at a senior level
  • Strong analytical and systems capability (ERP exposure essential)
