Are you an experienced CNC Miller looking to lead a small but expanding shopfloor? You are in luck... This Lead CNC Miller position is a Monday to Friday shift working on completely brand new 5 axis milling machines!
The business are a precision machining business, supplying 5 axis parts into the motorsport and high-end automotive industry. They specialise in jig and fixture component machining, as well as assembly of these complex jigs. They have multiple sites, but this one is working from their Rowley Regis machine shop.
You will be the senior figure within a small team of machinists, working on brand new 5 Axis Matsuura & DMG milling machines, mainly machining different metallic materials from billet. Alongside setting and operating the 5 axis mills, you will also be distributing workload to the other machinists, offering your machining knowledge and ensuring everything is running smoothly and efficiently on the shopfloor.
What is required:
- 5 axis Milling experience on Fanuc or Heidenhain controls
- Previous leadership / mentoring experience of a small shopfloor
- Knowledge of working to tight tolerances - Precision manufacturing
