This is a role working for a leading international automotive supplier specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality components and assemblies. They work on a global scale and partner with many high-end OEMs / Tier 1 suppliers. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment where engineering excellence, safety and quality are at the heart of everything they do.
You will play a key role in the delivery of new product introduction projects, working closely with customers, suppliers and internal cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, to quality standards and within budget. We need a strong project manager/engineer who is confident managing projects from start through to completion. A technical background is required as the projects you will be managing need you to understand the requirements and hold credible conversations with customers.
Key responsibilities:- Ensure safety, quality, cost and delivery targets are achieved at every stage of the project lifecycle.
- Lead project review meetings.
- Liaise with internal teams and management.
- Budget control.
- Identify, escalate and resolve project risks.
- Minimum of 2 years of working within project management.
- Manufacturing background, ideally automotive.
- Degree within engineering would be highly desirable.
- Confident managing multiple projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
