This is a role working for a leading international automotive supplier specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality components and assemblies. They work on a global scale and partner with many high-end OEMs / Tier 1 suppliers. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where engineering excellence, safety and quality are at the heart of everything they do.

You will play a key role in the delivery of new product introduction projects, working closely with customers, suppliers and internal cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, to quality standards and within budget. We need a strong project engineer/manager who is confident managing projects from start through to completion. A technical background is essential as the projects you will be managing require an understanding of the requirements and the ability to hold credible conversations with customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure safety, quality, cost and delivery targets are achieved at every stage of the project lifecycle.
  • Lead project review meetings.
  • Liaise with internal teams and management.
  • Budget control.
  • Identify, escalate and resolve project risks.

Required skills/experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of working within projects focused positions.
  • Manufacturing background.
  • Degree within engineering would be highly desirable.
  • Confident managing multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
