Programme Manager - Engineering

This is a hybrid role, where you can work from home 2 days a week.

We have an exciting opportunity for a leading global technology business that is delivering world-beating projects within the automotive & aerospace sectors. You will be working as part of an experienced team to deliver engineering projects on time and on budget. Following a company restructure, they are looking for a programme manager to join their team.

We are looking for an experienced engineer who has moved into project management. We are happy to consider candidates with a small amount of project management experience, but you must have a strong engineering background. You’ll be working on multiple engine projects, which will be a mix of small and large programs, closely alongside a team of project managers and engineers.

You’ll be tasked with creating and delivering project plans while revising them as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. You will need to identify risks and manage the budget for various projects. You’ll be monitoring the project progress against plans in terms of work completed, cost, and timing, while also supporting the commercial department in project planning for quotation purposes.

You will need to come from a background in automotive or aerospace engineering. Experience or knowledge of engines is required, and a degree in engineering would be highly advantageous.
