The Role
As the Maintenance Manager, you'll have full responsibility for the engineering performance from team leadership and technical development through to budgets and capital investment projects. You'll work closely with the site's management team to ensure your area achieves operational excellence, while championing a proactive engineering culture focused on safety, reliability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor and develop a talented team of shift engineers, building capability and engagement across your area.
- Drive a strong culture of safety, teamwork and high performance.
- Manage all planned and reactive maintenance activity and ensuring compliance.
- Take ownership of the maintenance budget, ensuring effective cost control.
- Deliver and support capital investment projects to improve site performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure manufacturing standards are met and exceeded.
About You:
You'll be an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in FMCG or food manufacturing, who enjoys getting the best from people and taking ownership of performance. We're looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience managing an engineering team within a manufacturing environment (ideally food or FMCG).
- Can demonstrate success in developing teams and fostering a positive, high-performing culture.
- Has experience managing maintenance budgets and delivering results in a fast-paced production environment.
