Are you passionate about creating packaging that not only looks great but also works brilliantly across the supply chain? This could be the role for you.
We\’re working with a highly successful FMCG business in Norfolk that\’s expanding its team with the addition of a Packaging Technologist. They produce a wide variety of packaging solutions, from jars and tubes to pouches, bottles, refill packs, gift sets and more.
This is a hybrid role offering 2 days per week from home, and they will give you a chance to work with the main retailers and global brands!
What you\’ll be doing:
- Lead packaging development for new and existing products
- Turn customer ideas into practical, commercial packaging solutions
- Source, spec and trial packaging across materials and formats
- Collaborate with customers, engineers, and suppliers to get it right first time
- Drive improvements, cost savings and sustainability initiatives
What we\’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Packaging Technologist or Manager (FMCG or Food background preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of packaging materials and print processes
- Confident working from concept through to production and approvals
- Collaborative approach with both customers and internal teams
- A problem-solver who can balance creativity, cost, and practicality
