We're partnering with a long-established and respected local manufacturer based near Boston, known for its deep community roots and commitment to quality and innovation. With a strong legacy in production and a modern, forward-thinking approach to manufacturing, this business offers a dynamic and rewarding environment for experienced engineers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Keeping a large-scale, modern facility running smoothly through planned maintenance and swift reactive repairs.
- Supporting continuous improvement projects-including equipment upgrades and efficiency optimisations.
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and implementing lasting solutions.
- Collaborating across departments to uphold safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
- Playing a key role in maintaining the high technical and quality standards the site is known for.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of practical experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Qualifications such as:
- City & Guilds in Engineering (or equivalent)
- HNC or NVQ Level 3 (Mechanical or Electrical)
- 18th Edition (ideal if you're electrically biased)
- A solid grasp of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and steam systems.
- A proactive, hands-on problem solver with strong teamwork and communication skills.
