We are partnering with a successful and growing business to recruit a Commercial Finance Lead. This is a key role within the finance function, partnering closely with Commercial, Procurement and Finance stakeholders to provide insight, challenge and financial guidance to support business performance and decision-making. The role will suit a commercially focused finance professional who enjoys business partnering, improving performance and turning financial data into meaningful insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Procurement and Finance
  • Deliver commercial analysis, reporting and performance insight
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
  • Support pricing, tenders and strategic business initiatives
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and performance improvements
  • Drive improvements across processes, controls and reporting
  • Support the development of finance systems and reporting tools

Key Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong commercial finance and business partnering experience
  • Confident influencing and challenging senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate insight clearly
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with finance systems
  • Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, food or supply chain environments is beneficial
