We are partnering with a cutting-edge engineering consultancy for the development of brand-new manufacturing processes across the aerospace, space and defence sectors. With growing investment within the company, they have decided now is the right time to recruit a Lead Manufacturing Engineer for their CNC Manufacturing Processes.

As the Lead Manufacturing Engineer within the team, you will have a few direct reports to manage but the main responsibility of this role is to project manage their CNC projects from initial proposal, engineering meetings and defining requirements. You will then carry out the in-depth CNC Programming work, using Siemens NX CAD/CAM software.

Being the Lead on these projects, you will be heavily involved in work with tooling suppliers, developing new programmes and machining methodologies, so you will have to be comfortable in being customer facing as well as being hands-on with the machining.

The ideal candidate is someone who is an existing Manufacturing Engineer with Siemens NX software who is comfortable with technical leadership as well as managing a small team. This is project-based work.
