Overview

We are looking for a recently graduated or junior engineer who loves detail and ensures nothing gets missed. This opportunity involves being fully involved in the process of quoting for precision manufacturing work for F1, high-end motorsport and automotive businesses.

The Business

Our precision machining business supplies complex parts to high-end names in the motorsport and F1 industry. We have a small team of engineers working in a newly refurbished F1-esque environment and have recently acquired a new facility, driving growth.

The Role

You will be tasked with analyzing complex engineering drawings of CNC-machined components. Your responsibilities include estimating the time for each process, calculating material and tooling costs, and using specialist quotation software to produce accurate and competitive quotes for customers.

Requirements

  • Degree level education in automotive, motorsport, or mechanical engineering.
  • Understanding of engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing techniques such as CNC milling and turning.
